Xavier Lièvre, partner at 14 Pyramides Notaires, took part in discussions bringing together public- and private-sector stakeholders to examine the major transformations affecting land use and territorial development.

Housing, territorial strategy, stakeholder consultation and the effectiveness of public policy were among the key issues addressed during the day’s debates and workshops. Discussions notably covered future housing policy, development strategies following the municipal elections and ways to improve the effectiveness of public action.

The afternoon featured thematic workshops on the bail réel solidaire (BRS), a French long-term real estate lease mechanism designed to support affordable homeownership, as well as environmental issues, stakeholder consultation and the uses of urban spaces.

Against a backdrop of significant land, urban planning and environmental challenges, notaries contribute legal and operational expertise to development projects. Xavier Lièvre’s participation reflects 14 Pyramides Notaires’ commitment to the collective discussions shaping territorial development and addressing new housing challenges.
